GH's Ned gives Alexis the Business
the information from Julia, Ned lambastes Alexis about the Cassadine
takeover of ELQ's Jakarta (Indonesia) operation this week on
"He was first of all hurt that someone whom he had obviously trusted and really liked and was hoping that he would be able to maybe even have a future with would stab him in the back," says Wally Kurth (Ned). "And secondly, he was shocked that he was so dumb and naive not to realize that she would be the perfect one to do such a thing."
Alexis knows she doesn't have a leg to stand on and Ned immediately sets in motion a plan to beat the Cassadines at their own game. "Ned is a very good businessman, and he knows that a very specific talent is required for this," Kurth explains. "Ned brings on Jax, because he is the hostile-takeover king. That is what Ned really needs to do to get the company back, and he offers Jax a good piece of the pie to do it."
As for the previously blossoming Ned/Alexis relationship, Kurth says it's finished--at least for the foreseeable future. "There's certainly no trust there anymore. He thought she wasn't your typical Cassadine, but now he realizes she is."
